Pin It To Win It!

Are you as addicted to Pinterest as I am? 

I always see great stuff for my classroom and wish that I had it. Have you ever seen one of the products from my TPT store and wish that you had it? Well now you can. . .for FREE! I'm a part of the "Pin It To Win It" contest being held by a group of TPT sellers on Pinterest. 

 Head to my Pinterest board titled "Pin It To Win It" and do two simple things: 


1st - Re-Pin one, or all, of the products you want to win from my store. 


2nd - Leave a comment saying how cool the item is, be sure to leave your e-mail address.

Dear Dad

With Mother's Day behind us, we are next to celebrate the dads in our lives. I'm not a dad yet and unfortunately my father passed a few years ago but I still have to help my students celebrate!


What dad doesn't like coffee? I'm having my students write "Thanks A Latte" letters to their dads thanking them for all they do.


So I'll take a turn. . .Dad, thanks a latte for teaching me how to ride a bike, I ride mine every morning now and think of you when I do.

Fun with Pinterest Projects

I've been having some Pinterest fun lately and recently brought two of my "pins" to life into my classroom.

First was a magnet. I bought the wooden pictures from the craft store, here you see an apple. I used my glue gun to glue the apple to a clothespin. Attach a magnet to the back  and BINGO you have a magnet for any theme.

My next project was based on the fact that I'm tired of telling kids what they owe me. Based off an idea I saw on Pinterest that I edited this is my "Catch-Up" board. If a student sees his/her name on the board prior to recess they ask me what they owe. I tell them, they take a clipboard and do their work outside at recess (it's too nice for them to stay in!)  HAPPY PINNING!
